In addition to your statutory rights and remedies as a consumer, all Merlin® branded products are guaranteed with a Limited Warranty covering manufacturer’s defects in the unlikely event of a warranty service being required for our products. Terms and conditions of our Limited Warranty vary according to model, and mode of purchase.
If a Merlin® branded garage door opener is sold, installed and serviced by an authorised Chamberlain professional dealer, depending on the model purchased, we offer a 2, 3, 5 or 7 year Limited Warranty from the date of purchase in accordance with the terms and conditions of our warranty:

If you choose to purchase a Merlin branded product from an online reseller, it is up to each customer to determine the suitability of the product for their needs and we accept no responsibility for unauthorised installation. Our Limited Warranty against manufacturer’s defects for internet purchases of Merlin® garage door openers is for 1 year or 1000 cycles (whichever comes first) from the date of online purchase, under the terms and conditions of our warranty.
