Sectional and tilt garage door openers
The Commander Essential has all the performance and design features you need in a garage door opener. A quiet and powerful opener for sectional doors with 5-year warranty.
The Essential is compatible with a range of Merlin safety and security accessories including myQ technology and myQ LED Light.
The Commander Elite is New Zealand’s favourite sectional and tilt garage door opener. With a quiet but powerful DC motor, you can control the door using Premium+ Remotes or Wireless Wall Button.
The Elite is compatible with a range of Merlin safety and security accessories including myQ technology, myQ LED Light and battery backup to allow the door to operate in the event of a power failure.
The Commander Extreme is designed for extreme weather conditions and heavy custom doors. It is compatible with a battery backup function that allows sectional doors to operate in the event of a power failure.
The Extreme is also compatible with a range of other Merlin safety and security accessories including myQ technology, myQ LED Light, X-rail and Protector Safety IR Beams.
The Commander Ultimate opens up possibilities to maximise garage space.
The wall mounted, heavy lifting opener operates sectional garage doors. It comes with safety and security accessories installed including myQ Wif-Fi, allowing control via the myQ app from anywhere and integrated battery backup so it can be operated in a power failure.

New Merlin accessories
The myQ Remote LED Light is designed to illuminate your garage or workspace. The light can be controlled by a garage door opener, remote or the myQ app.
The myQ Connectivity Bundle lets you monitor and control the garage door away from home via the myQ app for smart devices, including Apple Watch. The bundle includes myQ Gateway and the Protector System (Safety IR Beams) to protect your loved ones and belongings.
Get in and out when the power is out with Battery Backup. Keep your opener operating and your garage accessible at all times. Battery Backup powers the garage door opener (and safety features) as if the power was still on.
